One of our most frequently asked questions has to be “How can I create payment forms in Formplus?” Not necessarily in those words, but definitely with the same purpose in mind.
Formplus customers were/are really keen to receive payments with web forms.
With that in mind, we have introduced 3 PayPal, Stripe and Flutterwave Payment Integrations in Formplus and now you can collect payments via online forms. These integrations can be used to receive payments on your online forms.
All payment processors integrated with Formplus are Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant, meaning that no matter what service you choose, your data (and your customers’ information) remains secure.
One question that may come to mind is: Does Formplus take a cut out of the funds received via forms?
The simple and absolute answer to that is no, Formplus does not take a cut. There are no hidden charges for using our forms to collect payments, other than the transaction fees charged by the processors themselves.
Paypal and Stripe charge 2.9% of the transaction amount as transaction fees while Flutterwave charges depend on the credit or debit card used to perform the transaction; for a local card, the transaction fee is 1.4% + #10 of the transaction fee, for an international card, the transaction fee is 3.5% of the transaction amount. If you are new to any of these processors, we recommend doing some research to decide on one that fits your needs.
Flutterwave and Stripe are best used to create donation/sponsorship forms because respondents can be allowed to choose the amount they wish to pay, while Paypal forms, are best used for sales and order forms as form owners can set a fixed price.
All of your donation forms, event registration forms, order forms and other online payment forms can be created easily using the Formplus builder. You can also add one or more payment processors to your forms.
Sign in to the builder (www.formpl.us/control#) to start collecting payments via forms now. If you are unsure of where to begin, read through the Formplus payment integration article to learn how you can start collecting payments with Formplus.
